Multiple company from the area were working a large fire at the RPM Recycling Plant last night. First arriving fire officer confirmed a working fire with explosions and additional companies were requested. Station 54 made the assist using 54-12 to set up a tanker fill site at Alberts Pond off of Albert Road. 54-31 joined in the shuttle operation running water to the scene with the other 9 tankers. Tankers used two different fill sites to run water through Wind Gap Borough to the scene. Multiple company from the area were on scene for approx. 6 hours working the fire. Hand lines were used along with a tower ladder to control the fire.
All units cleared the scene without incident.
