The Department Christmas Party

The Upper Nazareth Fire Department got together last night for their annual Christmas party. 45 people showed up as the company treated the guys and girls to a wonderful dinner. The department wanted to take notice to the hard times that the wives go through as us firefighters are getting up in the middle of the night or out for days at a time. Firefighter Frank Belecastro made a career change last year and was gone for some time this year. At the party he was presented with his 2010 firefighter of the year award. In 2010 Frank put a lot of time in at the firehouse, he had built a lot of stuff for fundraising and assisted in others needs at the station. Firefighter Ken Wismer Received the 2011 Firefighter of the year award. Ken has put countless hours at the station this year, from being tied for running the most calls to working on the website. We also handed out a few gag gifts, those gifts went out to Michael Allen, Nelson Harman, and Ken Wismer. Everyone seemed to have a great time and is looking forward to a great 2012.
