The Upper Nazareth Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a single vehicle accident on rt. 946 by rt. 248. On arrival crews discover one car into a pole with one minor injured individual. The base of the pole was snapped off at the base and the car was holding the pole from falling. The road was closed for approximately 8 hours as Med-Ed replaced the pole. Fire crews where on scene for 4 hours and then cleared after Med-Ed utilities brought out a pole grabber to secure the pole so the car could be towed.
