Department Approves The Purchase Of A New Truck 54-13

The Upper Nazareth Fire Company voted to buy a new fire apparatus during the April meeting. The truck committee has been meeting with sales reps from Spartan ERV trying to build the perfect truck for the company based on the needs of the township and surrounding communities. The paperwork is being signed and the truck will take approx. 300 days to build before we will take delivery. This truck is long over due to replace the 1977 American LaFrance pumper. This truck will be fully outfitted for fire fighting along with some light rescue capabilities. We will keep everyone informed on the progress of the truck and you can look to see this truck on the road early 2014.
