Upper Nazareth Fire assist’s Plainfield on Large Dwelling Fire.

The alarm went out at 4:14 am for Tanker 5431 to respond with multiple fire department's to Plainfield Township on Pen Argyl Road, just of Bangor RD./191 for a dwelling fire. Crews arrived to find the building well off. Interior operations started however were quickly diverted to exterior operations. 36 command alerted the evacuation tones for all firefighters to evacuate the building. Because of no hydrants in the area a tanker task force was initiated with tankers from Northampton and Monroe counties. Station 54 was re-alerted to set up a Penn Star landing sight to transport a patient however because of the time of transport Penn Star requested EMS 36 and 27 drive to the Penn Star pad @ the 911 center in Upper Nazareth. Units remained on scene for several hours hitting hot spots.
