The Upper Nazareth Fire Department would like to take the time to thank you for your interest in joining our organization. We have set a goal to provide our community with the best protective services they deserve. We welcome all ideas and thoughts you may have to make this organization the best it can be. We know how tough it is to become a volunteer and hope your time with us will be fulfilling. training is provided if there would be a need for it and all schooling is provided through Northampton County Fire Association or through Northampton Community College. You will find there are other options available to you if you are not comfortable with firefighting. There is always the need for Fire Police protection when we are out on calls, which schooling is required and supplied. We could also use your support as an Auxiliary Member, when we know we will be out for a period of time, or for various fundraising projects that we can have. So, as you see, there is always a place for your time and effort that you can put forth into our organization.
Applicants between the age 14 to 17 are required to have their working papers, and their parent’s approval papers signed. Junior members must have one of their parents or guardian present during the interview. There will also be a need for members less than the age of 18 whom are still in school, to have a release form signed by the acting principle of that particular school district. All members will need to have a criminal background check completed before the review committee can schedule a interview.
