HERCULES INDUSTRIAL FIRE

The Upper Nazareth Fire Department was called to assist station 25 Forks Township at a industrial fire in Stockertown Borough. 25-51 arrived on scene reporting a coal fire on the 3rd and 4th stories of the mill around the dust collection system and coal bins. The fire appeared to start on division 4 with hot embers falling down to division 3 igniting residual coal dust. The fire was contained rather quick but required extensive overhaul. It was dirty work but the men and women of stations 25 and 54 were up for the challenge.
