Multiple companies responded to South Main Street for a report of a structure fire at Pizza Joes Italian Restaurant. Upon arrival crews were faced with heavy smoke and fire on the 2nd and 3rd stories of the structure. The initial attack line was stretched in but had to evacuate after a short period of time due to deterdeteriorating conditions. The operations went defensive to darken the fire down and once it appeared to be stable three crews were sent back in to make an aggressive interior attack to extinguish the blaze.

Two fire fighters did recieve minor burns and were taken to the local hospital to be treated.

Fire crews cleared the scene around 14:30Hrs.
