54-51 arrived on scene and took command reporting nothing showing from the exterior
5453 Took Operations
Security personal on scene were reporting that smoke was pushing out of a door to the electrical room. 54-12 was first on scene and made a search of the building to locate the fire. 50-21 was next in staging in front of the tower and stretching an attack line off 54-12. 54-11 established water supply by hitting the closest hydrant and crew went to the manpower pool. Inside crews reported that it was a boiler malfunction and it was steam causing the problem. Crew vented the building and cleared the alarm. The scene went without incident. |
