Major Accident 3000 Block Newburg Rd. Upper Nazareth

UNFD, November 23

Early morning Sunday around 2:20 AM Upper Nazareth Fire along with Hecktown Fire and Nazareth Regional Ambulance was dispatched to a MVA with Entrapment. On arrival we discovered a pickup truck into a large tree and snapped telephone pole. Down the road was a second pickup truck with front end damage. Upper Nazareth Fire Rescue was dispatched to the area of New Enterprise blacktop plant off of Tatamy Road @ 1:51 PM for a dump truck into a train. On arrival the driver was being extricated from the high lift with a plant JLG boom lift truck. No injuries were reported. The dump truck was coming from the opposite direction. 6-27-2020 Commercial Structure Fire Nazareth Intermediate School 355 Tatamy Rd.

Station 54 was dispatched to a automatic fire alarm at the Nazareth Intermediate school. First unit on scene reported smoke in the buildings. Chief Fassl 5451 took command and upgraded the first alarm from a fire alarm to a commercial structure fire. The upgraded first alarm added station 50 and 53. Upper Nazareth Fire called into Plainfield Township to assist in a single family home fire. With the first trucks arriving Rescue Engine 5412 was established as the main pumper to supply off the fire hydrant to other suppression fire operating trucks and hand lines. Dwelling Fire 3379 Rising Sun Court

Upper Nazareth Fire Dept. was dispatched at 6:25Pm to a dwelling fire at 3379 Rising Sun Court Upper Nazareth Twsp. Additional reports from officers in- route to the call was heavy smoke showing. Because of the size of the large house and no hydrants in the development the call went to three alarms with 10 tanker trucks requested with additional manpower.
