Station 54 was dispatched to a automatic fire alarm at the Nazareth Intermediate school. First unit on scene reported smoke in the buildings. Chief Fassl 5451 took command and upgraded the first alarm from a fire alarm to a commercial structure fire. The upgraded first alarm added station 50 and 53. Upper Nazareth Fire called into Plainfield Township to assist in a single family home fire. With the first trucks arriving Rescue Engine 5412 was established as the main pumper to supply off the fire hydrant to other suppression fire operating trucks and hand lines. Upper Nazareth Fire Dept. was dispatched at 6:25Pm to a dwelling fire at 3379 Rising Sun Court Upper Nazareth Twsp. Additional reports from officers in- route to the call was heavy smoke showing. Because of the size of the large house and no hydrants in the development the call went to three alarms with 10 tanker trucks requested with additional manpower. Station 54 Upper Nazareth with structured dispatch assistance from station 53 Lower Nazareth responded to a SUV into the side of a large flatbed truck.
