As wildland fire season is upon us we felt the need to have more certified wildland firefighters at Upper Nazareth Fire Dept. The training consist of class work and on hands training. The firefighters totaling 41 in class are from several local departments and one as far away as Lancaster PA area. The class consists of 4 classroom training sessions and one hands on that will take place off of levis road in the woods Sunday March 13th. upon completion of the class 21 firefighters from Upper Nazareth will be certified in DCNR PA-130 and PA-190 Wildland firefighting.
