Upper Nazareth Fire Dept. is proud to announce that one of our firefighters is now certified as a fire warden under DCNR district 17 . We also recently was awarded a DCNR grant to procure forestry and wildland equipment. On Thursday night February 25th twelve firefighter from Upper Nazareth Fire Dept. took to the woods off Levis Rd. to perform some wildland evaluations in the dark. The drill consisted of color coded marking trails and hazards along with making fire stops with hand tools and leaf blowers.
