On Thursday evening, February 15th, the Upper Nazareth Fire Dept. was dispatched to a dwelling fire on Penfield Way in the Redcliffe Estates development. Crews arrived on scene to find a working fire in the lower level extending to the second floor. Along with master streams from engines, ladder trucks and a schnozzle from our mutual aid departments, firefighters also deployed multiple hand lines to develop an interior attack on the fire. Work continued well into the morning of the 16th to ensure that the fire was out and wouldn't rekindle. Two of the neighboring homes were affected and the Red Cross were brought in to assist, along with the State Fire Marshal.

With the help of 10 neighboring fire departments and 2 EMS stations, we were able to keep this bad situation from getting even worse. A great big THANK YOU to all of our brothers and sisters for a job well done!
